Attractions

Usinsk is the youngest city in the republic, the capital of oil workers and an example of the intercultural relations. Walking straight like an arrow along Neftyanikov Street, it is easy to reach the forest, but in the downtown you should definitely stop at the unique monument to mosquito. The townspeople love the comic symbol of the city and before the cold season they dress a giant insect in winter clothes that it does not freeze.

From Syktyvkar you can get to Usinsk by train and plane. It must be taken into account, that prices in stores here are higher than in the south and in the center of the republic.
